April 1, 1883 - Lon Chaney - Actor - Born
The "Man of a thousand faces," who played The Phantom in the 1925 "Phantom of the Opera" as well as Quasimodo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." His son, Lon Chaney, Jr. also went on to be a horror actor.
